A guy on here had the same question, and ended up finding this. Or you can do like Alih said, and just find another head unit. They are fairly cheap these days, and most are ready for just about every aftermarket car gadget available.

Yes they are correct. The only alternative to FM transmitters are after market decks. You can get them relatively cheap. The cheapest being the Sony's for near $99 bucks but they won't include the ~$20 Ipod cable, the wiring harness for the new deck ~$20, or the dash din ~$20. You will also save money if you install it yourself. I work at best buy and labor for a simple deck install is $50. You can save money on the Ipod cable by going with AUX but you won't be able to control it through your deck and it won't charge it, instead you'll have to control the Ipod by hand and if you want to charge it you have to buy a ~$30 charger.

Not many options for a '95 except getting a new radio I would look at the JVC HD Radios which also have iPod/iPhone &Aux in, or Dual's HD Radio offerings with Aux inputs. http://crutchfield.com/hdradio/index.html? will show you the options and needed connection adaptors for your specific car and I highly recommend looking there first.
On 98-02 Camaros, the USA Spec interfaces seems the best option with dual iPod/iPhone & Aux connections (but no HD Radio).

RE: iPod interface
if you want to take out the stock radio and buy a new cd player, there alot of cd players that are "ipod ready," so you can just plug the ipod into the cd player and it plays perfectly through there just like a cd. obviousley a little more pricier because you are paying for an entire cd player as well, but it is WAY worth it compared to the wireless transmitters for ipods, which basically sound like crinkling garbage coming through the speakers

Remeber, if she has the premium sound package (Bose) the speakers are 2 ohm speakers which is a weird impedance. You can't just run any old aftermarket deck in the car, you either have to run an aftermarket deck and amp or you need to find the magical Bose adapter that I've never actually seen (although I haven't looked in a while).
