Default Intake manifold swap pics

Swapped out my ls1 intake in my 98 to the bbk intake. Ran into a few bumps. Would of had it done last night but broke the oil sending unit while putting the new intake in. Got a new one today. I never had a chance to drive the car much or run it hard to feel much of a difference. Seems to have a little more pep down low but I never had the chance to get on it yet where the real power starts to happen.

I'm keeping the stock TB. It was really dirty I cleaned it up good. And I went bbk because from what I hear you need to grind with the ls6 intake so it fits and buy the coolant line. And BBK '''says''' it flows better then the LS6. And for heat sink I'm not sure if I believe that. I took the car out ran it hard for a little bit came home and popped the hood. Laid my hand on the intake and it felt no hotter then my stock ls1 intake. So far I LOVE it. No modifications needed. Everything hooks up with the stock parts

Here is a better pic of it in the daylight. That strut bar was red. But I painted it blue. I thought it would look better blue with the intake. And to me it does
