Default Ignition Switch

Ok guys i believe i need to replace my ignition switch. When i go to turn the key i can hear the pump prime, but it wont make the chime sound nor start or attempt to start. But could it be the relay for the starter switch also ? Pics would be great of it too...

Any Security light? Sounds like it could be a VATS issue to me.

I just had issues with my ignition switch. car just died whenever it felt like it then wouldn't do anything. wiggling the wires underneath the dash around the steering column helped here and there but it did end up needing a new ignition switch and no problems since (at least not related problems).

this car seems to be one of the most problematic cars I've ever owned. but I'm going to keep fixing it. cuz I like it anyways. lol

Yes, there is a fuse for the ignition as well as a clutch or Auto Trans position switch.

If you're decent with electrical diagrams, it's over on the right hand side.

Along with a schematic for the starter relay etc. for a '93:

well i replaced the main ign fuse, it didnt appear to be blown, but with the new fuse i can hear it make a tiny sound when i turn the fuse. But im going to pull the starter off tomarrow and check the wires going to it...what controls the the noise that goes "ding...ding....ding..." when you put the key in ?
