Ignition lock cylindar like problems, need ideas.

Check a schematic if you have one, because I'm pretty sure the ABS gets power to activate through the brake light switch (which kinda makes sense doesn't it). Check to make sure you didn't knock something loose with those related wires.

Duh I never thought about the stop light switch! It is right there by the column and yes it can get bumped and either unplugged or knocked out of adjustment easily enough. The ABS system does not really get power from the switch but the switch tells the system that brakes have been applied.

^ That's what I meant about the switch, not the power source, but a through-path to activate the system.

Can you tell me where to look for that because I've never messed with the stuff under the dash before yesterday.

I wish I could say that helps me, but I have never been all that good at schems. But I printed it out anyway and I'll look at it and try to figure it out. Where is the brake switch I should be looking for to check? And I know it's by the brake peddle.
