Default Ignition Coil Missfire?

After I added seafoam to my car and started it again after 10 minutes of idle i was giving it a good amount of gas to clean out the engine of carbon. After that I got a check engine light and car didn't wanna accelerate rapidly. Its most likely caused by a misfire caused by one of the ignition coils. Is there any way I can check to make sure? Whats the best place to look for one if i need to replace it?

Or maybe the seafoam was cleaning out well and blowing a lot of crud out of the exhaust, and now the oxygen sensors are crapped up giving a false reading.

Got too much crud stuck in the Cat? And yes muffed up o2 sensors will cause drivability issues.

Not a super savvy mechanic but I know many cars when the check engine light comes on th computer retards alot of engine settings to keep you from causing more damage

Yep, I would expect that to happen if the oxy sensors got crudded up. It'll mess up your air/fuel mix.

take the 02 sensors out and see if they are fouled, take spark plugs out and see if any of them are fouled. when you use a cleanser on the motor it can loosen crud that will sometimes foul a plug or two or the 02's. you can try cleaning the 02's by heating the sensor end up with a torch, very hot but not so hot as to burn or melt the wires on the other end..

I have used sea foam in two of my vehicles. It works well, but both times I had to change the plugs after. I was amazed at the amount of crud lodged in the plugs. I would pull a plug and take a look see.
