haha, yea, took me a while to get use to my ION too, the low end tq issue(even tho it's better than acivic), and the hydrolic clutch.
my camaro wasnt that much faster, ION is like a 15.5 sec car, and my camaro was prolly 14.5, but i get the same thing, i always go into a empty lane, to fly past people and cut over. doesnt work to well witht he ion, but it's deffently got better top end pull. can be in 5th doing 60, and floor it and be at 100 fairly fast(of corse i usually downshift, but the camaro would usually just shake in 5th at low RPM like that)

There is a big difference there & you would feel it. And also, is your ion a red line? If not I dont see it runing 15s with out mods.
And for your 3.8 camaro to run mid 14s you should have full bolt ons and 3.42 gears.

yeah man your camaro was realistically about a16 second car and your ion is a 16-17 second car- like it matters they are both slow.

well i did have gears on my camaro, dont know what they were, but ive said before it redlined in 5th at 95, also had CAI, exhaust and real good traction.. and no it's not a redline, but ive read couple places that the stock camaro ran a 15.5 stock with standard, and the the Ions run 15.9 stock with standard(the auto ion is like 16.7, a hell of alot slower, and i can vouch for that, just test driving them, the standard was a hell of alot snapier) the stock redline is 15.2 i beleave. yea.. both are pretty slow but a stock LT1 does what? low 14? its a big difference, but at the same time it's not, specially compared to alot of other stock or mildly modded cars out there. i can also vouch that the ion is faster than most imports out there(ik ik ion isnt a import, but fwd), especially for the 14grand-16grand brand new price tag(mine was 9grand before taxes)compared to the what? 25k price tag of a SI, or the 21k price tag of a Tc, etc.
