Default Identify a Connector?

Hey guys, when doing my fuel pump I found an open connector on the rear passenger side by the spare tire. It's not one of the two that go to my monsoon speakers. It has a really short reach too. Wondering if anyone has seen this, or know what it might be for?
It's a 97 Trans Am LT1 if it matters.

The factory alarm wasn't plug and play on these cars was it? I already have keyless entry. The alarm is actually one of the only options my car didn't come with.

With my luck, it probably is a ta thing. lol

While were at it, any idea what size bolts go in this? It's a plate on the tranny. No idea the technical name for it. Rattles sometimes at 3k rpm.
6 speed if it matters. (has since been cleaned)

i think a amp goes in back behind the tire. stop by a gm dealer and ask for the trans inspection cover bolts, you may have to buy 4 or 6. cant find my parts book
