Default I think i fixed it!!!!

I think I finally fixed my problem! I was having problems with rough running and idling, and it was making me very angry. I fixed the temperature gauge and flushed the coolant and the car runs better than ever! Thanks for everyone who tried to help me!

I doubt that the temp gauge had anything to do on how the car ran.

I doubt it did too. But fixing it showed me that the coolant needed flushed.

Thumbs up

Seems like you have to be a master of riddles in order to work on these cars.

No kidding. I fixed the problem not even trying to fix the problem. I was just doing some things before I switched out the opti and bam, it was fixed.

Found the plug and plugged it back in lol. I'm going to fix the opti anyhow. Also, I started having a SES light today and it started missing and taking a lot of cranks to start. Is that the opti, plugs, plug wires, or something I will need to change all of them.

Based on your earlier symptons of rough running and poor idle, is sounds like it may be time to replace the opti. What codes are you getting?

Have you checked the fuel pressure at the rail yet?

If you change the opti, you may as well change the plugs and wires at the same time. Also, it is a good idea to change the waterpump now also.

if you can, see what codes you have before doing anything.
