I own a 1995 3.4L Camaro and I went to degrease the engine 2 days ago. It started right up and I drove it for 3 miles, turned it off and turned it on again. When I arrived to my destination the car's RPM went up to 2500 and it wouldn't go down. I turned it off and after that it wouldn't turn on again. It turns on When I put throttle cleaner in the throttle, spark plugs are dry, coils dry, spark plugs wires new, gas pump works perfect, no gas or air leaks, changed the fuel filter. I don't know what else I can check, can someone please give me some leads on what the problem might be. It only cranks but won't turn on all the way.

pick up a noid light at the local parts store and check to see if the injectors are being told to fire. check fuel pressure. look here and try some of these tests https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...18/#post618955 found in the how to and faq sticky at the top of the v6 section https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...65/#post618957

You degreased the engine. Does that mean you hosed it off too? With water comes corrosion, rust, and then poor electrical connections. Check everything wiring related, removing and cleaning the connections. That would be to your battery, any grounds, the alternator, ignition, and anything else you can see that may have gotten wet.
