Im still in the market for a 98-99 Z28 6-speed and im 16 years old.. i need to know how reliable these cars are or if they break down constantly.... I already took care of my insurance and gas is no biggy but i want a strong reliable car that i dont have to worry about breaking down on me!!!! give some info please!!!!

 

depends on how it was maintained and the mods done to it.

if all regular maintanence was done and there are light if any mods than its has potential to live past 200K miles.

i have nothing but good things to say about the 2 camaros i've had, but one was 2000 and hte other 2002.

i suggest you try to find a 2001-2002 in your price range.

 

i have a 98 and it runs perfect i do beat on her more then i should be its to fun to stop lol i am with nick thoe i would try for a 02 if i were u, but they are pretty much the same lil differences, but 98-99 are good cars as well i just dont like the egr crap they have...

 

i have a 1993 Z-28 that has had less problems then my 2005 dodgeram 1500 and 2002 chevy malibu. Every car is as good as it's maintenance....if treated like crap it will treat you like crap. I treat my cars well and love older cars better then new cars....less computer crap to go wrong with them.
