Okay camaro 69 and as far as changing and checking a transmission mount would It be enough room because Idk how high my axle tube Is off the ground the Im pretty sure the problem Is the transmission mount so thats why Im buying these Jack stands. But I wouldnt wanna buy them to find out that there wont be enough room to check and possibly replace a transmission mount.

Is there a guide to know where the Jacking points on my 1994 Chevy Camaro V6 3.4L Car. Is. I looked In the owners manual but didnt find Information on where the Jacking points of my car. If ya said a part or the car to Jack on I probably wont know where that Is so a layout of Image would be nice.

The stands will give you enough room to work. Jacking the rear is easy, jack up under the center section, and put the stands under each side of the axle tubes. Block the front tires so the car doesn't roll, and put a square of plywood under each stand if you're on a blacktop driveway to keep them from sinking in and ruining the drive.

Anyone else have Information to If they think 16.5 Inches will be enough to change a transmission mount or will I need more room. Like camaro 69 said. It might not even be 16.5 Inches. Depending on how high the Jack point Is. Any suggestions or comments, If It would work because I dont want to buy the Jack stands If they wont be high enough.

Just get the 16.5" jack stands, support the rear with those and use the jack to support the trans. Unbolt the 4 bolts holding the crossmember and the one mounting the trans to the crossmember. Simple.

Okay I was Just making sure that the 16.5 or technically less than 16.5 depending on how high the car Jacking point Is, would be high enough to change a transmission mount. Because I dont think I could return the Jack stands. If I buy them I want them to be able to lift the car high enough. I have been told It will and wont be enough room Idk what to believe. Have ya did this yourself and how high were your Jack stands. I Just want to make sure that they will be high enough because thats basically the reason why Im buying the Jack stands In the first place.
