How much hp gains should I expect?
I have a 2001 ss. I am looking to put a bbk 85 mm intake manifold,85 mm throttle body, mas air flow sensor, long tube headers and anunderdrive harmonic balancer. What kind of horsepower gains should I expect. Also anyone else have any good ideas for bolt on hp.

I am not sure, but my slightly educated guess would 30 whp at the most. If your motor internally is all stock then it won't help a whole lot,but if you do beef it up on the inside then all those things will definitely help.

Honestly I would not put that BBK intake on your car. You already have a LS6 intake, it's good till 425+ rwhp so is the stock MAF and TB (just port the stock TB). The long tubes are a great mod, as is the crank pulley. You should see about 30 rwhp with just the LT's and pulley. Your just waisting your money on the other stuff. If you REALLY want a new intake the FAST is the one to get, BBK is junk. FOr referance my car makes 393 rwhp with the LS6 intake and a stock TB. I bought the MAF before I knew better and it was indeed a waist of $$

My friends Z28 didnt gain very much power at all with just headers, because it bottle necked at the exhaust and cat, but there was a noticeble increase in torquiness (sp?) when he added a high flow cat and a new exhaust system.
