how hard is installing body kits on these cars?

does anyone have a full body kit that they themselves installed and how hard was it? or should i but the kit and take it to a professional? Also anyone know the best brands? I dont some homework and read some reviews...just curious to get a few more opinions

body kit or lip kit?

topherratty Aug 3, 2010 10:37 PM

well i guess it would still be a body kit?...front and rear bumper cover and side skirts

I would just buy the kit and take it to the professionals... especially if they can give you a warranty if something pops off, bring it back and they throw it back on.

a lip kit is what you get on the rs, a body kit replaces the actual panels. If its a lip kit its easy, if its a body kit take it to a pro

We always refer our customers to a professional body shop experienced in aftermarket fibergass parts. The price over at the local Maaco may look nice but they don't have the required experience to install the parts.
