Default how bad is the wind in a convertible ?

I'm going to buy a 4th Gen Camaro.
I'm comming out of a 99 Vette convertible.
In the Vette you can comfortably ride with the top AND WINDOWS down at 75-80 mph.
What I'm trying to find out is if the same can be said for the Camaro.
Any insight will be most appreciated. Thanks.

In the front seat, no prob. The girls will want to put their hair in a ponytail or under a hat.

Back seat....pretty breezy.

Yup, what Randy said.

That's identical to my experiences. A long trip with the top down requires some sun screen also.

Why in the world are you getting away from the Vette?
I had no wind issues in my 4th gen. But as was said above, the rear passengers would whine about it.
I was pretty compassionate about it though, and said tuff beans, it beats walking! lol

+1. Even with the wind, my kids won't even let me consider getting rid of my Z28, as if I would...

Thanks for the info.
Its killing me to sell my Vette - its beautiful and fast as heck.
I've delayed as long as I can but my doctors tell me that, in the not too distant future, I will need a car that can haul a bunch of medical equipment. I'm not willing to totally surender to my prognosis so after I sell the vette I'm thinking of a Camaro or Firebird.
We have some great back roads in North and South Carolina and my wife and I love nothing more than taking a "spirited" ride with the top down.
As far as the back seat, I don't think the equipment I'll be hauling will care about the wind.

Make sure you get a LS1 camaro, your 99 vette has that But im sure is quicker for numerous reasons. The LS1 camaro will still pull great. Youd be happy with one, as long as you get one that was not abused in the past.

top down and windows up is pretty lame the wind is not bad at all, honestly the worst part about the convertible is the rear window. its very small and there are HUGE blind spots, it makes highway driving a little exciting

make sure you leave a bottle of sunscreen in the car though it didn't take long for me to get sunburn.

+1. Here in SE Texas, the winter is the worst because I lose the awesome visibility I have for 10+ months of the year...
