at school the student parking is behind a baseball field which has netting that is very high but obviously not high enough. does anyone have experience with any good glass replacment shops as the whole thing will need to be replaced.

See if you can get the school to cover it..... damn that is bad luck it hit the sheild right in the middle... my brother get his S-10's sheild replaced with labor for around $150... not bad.. i dont remember who did it i think it was a independent guy

he wont have much luck, most schools have a clause in the signature form to get a parking pass stating that they aren't liable for any damage incurred while parked there.

exactly, my insurance wont cover it and im pretty sure when i got my parking pass i had to sign an agreement saying they arnt liable for any damage, but when i get it fixed i will try anyway

They are not responsible for any damage due to vandals but if memory serves the home run is not an act of vandalism. Check the contract you signed for the pass and see if anything is in there about sports event collateral damage.
Call your local body shops. 90% of them out there sublet glass work and will give you a good recomendation.
