Default High Flow Cat & Y Pipe?

I have read up and down this entire forum to try and answer this question:

I am looking for a new high-flow cat & Y-pipe. It is my understanding that a high-flow cat and Y-pipe will do more justice than headers.

It also appears that the high-flow cat comes with a new Y-pipe. Magnaflow has a decsent price on a direct fit product through Summit:

I would like to find a direct fit high-flow cat from Flowmaster. Does this exist? If so where can I find one? This is just a sound preference (I know that Magnaflow out-flows Flowmaster.

The brand of cat really isn't going to change the sound of your car. If you want a really high quality high-flow cat go with a Random Technology, Magnaflow comes in second place.

Thanks for the input. I already know the price on the Magnaflows. I like what I read from Random Technology. I placed a phone call to them for pricing; I should hear back from them tomorrow.

I am assuming that headers and Y-pipe won't make much a difference in sound then?

I don't want to get into the motor and changing out cams, lifters or any other internal part. I just want a healthier sound, overall stock, with some bolt-ons.

The only mods I have is Flowmaster 80 Series muffler and K&N Intake (per your recommendation away from Chrome Intake ebay junk!). I am assuming the Y-pipe was next and maybe headers?

Default cost vs Horsepower and effect of mod

Almost every mod you make (considering the list in the begining of this thread) put together will be negated by blower. Im sorry I know alot of you guys wont like me saying this but unfortunatly its the easiest and cheapest way (especially considering time to do all those mods) to accelerate.
