I might be wrong, but I vaguely remember something like the '96'-97 SS models have the door stickers because the parts were installed by SLP, and not the GM assembly line like the '98-ups were. I'm fairly sure that the '98-ups just got the RPO code. Then again, I could be wrong since it's been a while since I looked through any Camaro history books. I'll have to check into it some now that you got me curious.

 

i have an 02 SS... it has the Slp blackwing airlid, slp strut tower brace, as far as i can see under the hood but haven't tried to hunt down and see if those were done as aftermarket mods or from factory. the RPO code in the door jam does any one have a pic of that sticker so it would be easier to find?
