My security light came on but car starts up and run, what could it be?

 

if it isnt causing a problem dont even worry about it. mine flickers on and off anytime its raining, wet, or damp from the morning dew but when its dry and hot its not on at all.

 

If the security lamp came on while the engine was running, then the PCM/ECM is considering the problem is not be related to someone attempting to steal the car. In this event the computer will deactivate the VATS and allow the car to start and run normally. However, if the battery is disconnected and the computer memory is erased, there if a good chance tat the engine will not start until the VATS problem is fixed.

the 3800 ,yes interesting mine when i .lock the door ,it .arms itself ,then when i open the door i turn on the key dis arms it ,no keyless entry ./ ? is that normal ,when i got my .inspection someone left the key on battery went dead ,they gave me clear sticker ,saaid to bring it back in a few weeks or 300.00 miles to reset ,no locking the door for now .i have had the battery thing happen as well as gas cap to with an 04 blazer
