Before I go get one am I correct in that you buy the entire headlight and NOT a bulb?

 

You are correct, its a one piece sealed beam unit. No bulb.

 

I replaced just the bulb on my old 96. Replacement bulbs are like the one that's currently glued to your glass housing.
You can carefully pry the old one off, and silicone the new one on. Saves a few bucks. It's not a sealed beam unit.

 

i went with some extra vision sylvania xtravision. little more light.
