I have a 97 z28 lt1. I have a set of aftermarket headers from a vette that i'm 95% would fit but they dont have hookup for the emmissions crap. How can I put these on without having a bunch of problems with the computer ect.. Or jus get rid of the emissions stuff. I know if i jus put them on and not hook up the emissions it will probably be throwing codes and start running like crap or something....Any suggestions?

 

I assume you mean the O2 sensors, The same sensors that tells your fuel injection system how to adjust your fuel trim. Ya you need them. Get the right headers. I would be willing to bet a set of headers designed for a vet will not clear the floors anyway. Vet motor is a lot closer to the road then ours is.
