No worth it cost wise or it would be a lot more common. If you building a 650 hp 7000 RPMs monster you may see some benefit. Long tube headers seem to be a good dollar to HP deal but even then the max gain is only at close to 6000 RPM. At 4000 it much less. You want to look at how you drive it.

may not be hp but feels like 40hp when i did my 95 reality is like 25hp with a tune mabey the 10hp you get with stock slp in the ss cars 325 hp,i think sound alone is enough to make it feel like more hp,though with my 95 i took a 2.0 pony camaro 275hp 2017 at 60 feet i was gone ,with stock ls1 would have been a better race ,i think he just wants the muscle car sound ,an not the extra hp an a ton torq i get with my 406,will probley get my ls1 built up just wont be for a few years ,i think so

remember you dont need to go exspencive for a nice sound an to allow the cars to breath the way they should ,i know a friend had his $175.00 pacesetter headers coated with ceramic 2 coats
$100.00.made his own cat back out of stainless ,cost was $300.00 for the pipe an his own labor free all stainless too for $575.00 headers to tips ,i am pretty much thinking the same way ,i am just doing a slp resonator with all stainless steel as i hear there kit is moslty galvinized from slp ,only the resonator is stainless,so he already made up my system for $200.00 i bought the resonator from CS $65.00 $265.00 i have stainless slp loud mouth cat back for less then stock slp better pipe too ,i was going to buy the whole thing ,till i found out its not all stainless 304 too,let the puppies breath ,thifty not cheap

in 8 years his headers have bearly turned a bit at the bends but still look great they turn grey no matter what you do ,after time, there are a few guys on ebay selling the stainless cat back already bent ,with there resonator,269.00 with tips, add the slp resonator all stainless only difference is one is 3 inch wide, the other slp is 4 inch they both go right through

miss under stood me you wanted a cat back system i thought or were looking into it, i have true duals on my 95,an puting headers with a stock exhuast is like a waste unless you have slp ,its just about letting the engine breath. an the hp will be there at 4k with a full system muffler delete .some start with headers then go to cat back but i allways start with sound then move to power cat back but both allow more air flow cat back cost less to install about 1 hour labor at a shop, 2 hours in mine ,its realy just about proper air flow ,the cars are badly restricted ,i was just trying to suggest a cheaper way then some ???

i am sure many guys have took the muffler off to find water in it ,couse the stock set up has so much rerstriction ,its allowing the car to breath ,my note was alot less heat comeing from under the car .let the puppies breath an all around better throttle responce with headers an cat back ,an the muscle car sound,if you have slp already then headers may be a good choise alone,i found stock slp to be not near as good as aftermarket though if you have muffler there ,cats can be played with too with the right installer slash tuner

also to most guys its like not replaceing the fame connectors or panhard bar an trail arms replaced ,its just worth the improvment over stock weak stuff thats 16 years old ,if you drive like gram you may not want headers or anything ,just a stock ss ,an dont get me wrong i swear i am going to drive my car like slower each year but it is a z28,its right time right place ,i got a safe driving record matters as we get older

You're right, it'll be about finding the right combination at the right price. True duals won't be a good value for the money.
