Has anyone seen a security chip like this?
I had my car keys stolen a few weeks back and along with it an aftermarket security chip. The chip itself looked like a thin circuit board. Well I got new keys now I need to figure out what going on with this aftermarket security chip. There are no markings on the box and I have yet to find someone that knows what it is or how to get a replacement chip for it. Also if there is a quick fix by just disabling it im all ears. Thank you guys in advance!!!!! Also I will say im not really that great at fixing this like this so any advice will be great! Its a 95 6 speed z28 if that helps. Here is a few photos of the suspect.

I understand about the VATS. Its still intact. All I know is if I don't put the chip in it it will not start. I always assumed it was OEM, as I had one in my 95 dodge intrepid a few years back. I was just wondering if anyone recognized the the look of this one to see if I could at least find a maker for it.
The way that module and wiring harness looked, reminded me of the old Chapman Security Systems, which was a well known name years ago.
So on a whim, I searched and found this. Is this what your chip looked like?

Wow, really vintage. I have keys to my dads old F-150 and it has a chip system JUST like that.
Usually in my install bay when we get a car in with a problematic security system, we find the brain and unplug it, then see if we can start the car and that everything functions properly. If it does, then you can go ahead and undo as much of the wiring as you feel comfortable.
If you follow that cord it should take you to like a black box (a brain) and there should be plugs on it with wires going to diff locations (12+, Ground, Acc, 2 start kill wires, etc.) Again, try unplugging it and see if you can start it and not have issues before going through and completely uninstalling. I.E. Some alarms have window modules that roll up/roll down the windows or sunroof when the vehicle is armed/disarmed. Uninstalled an old alarm one time and the windows wouldn't work, figured it out shortly but was kind of a "oh sh**" moment, lol.
EDIT: Also if it's unplugged and the vehicle doesn't start STILL, then it's what they call a normally OPEN starter kill system, meaning if the brain or car looses power, the starter kill will still be active, in most cases people use normally closed because they don't want their customer to be stranded in the case the brain fails. But anyways, in that case you'll have to connect the starter wires together manually.

Which was my thought too, but to find what brand it is to see if you could find an install manual online to reverse it. When tracing the wires back, you want to find the original car's wires that were cut and bypassed through that module. And following the color-coding, reattach the original wires after taking the security box out of the line. That module you showed is a disabler, and if there isn't an "alarm" tied to it, then that piece could be the extent of it.
Thank you guys so much. I will do some work and and assuming I dont have to dig to deep into it it should be fine. Also one of the small black wires ran in the drivers side door jam, any idea what that might be? Im not sure why on earth someone would add this to our cars with VATS in place. Again im kinda a dummy when it comes to dealing with stuff so hopefully I can figure it out or it will be a call to AAA for a tow to a shop.
