have you tested the fuel pressure yet? how do the 02 sensors look, do they look fouled? fouled 02 can give an acceptable false reading that can cause a rich condition.

Yeah pressure read back 0 but I might have found something else.

This fuel line is dented or bent.

Would cutting off the dent and attaching the two with a hose be ok? Making it an easier fix than replacing the entire rail if it'll be a safe alternative.

ouch, thats been twisted to a kink. i doubt it would cut your pressure to 0 but its not good. thats a area that is pressurized to fuel pressure when key is on. so 35-40 lbs. i think i would use some good fuel line and double clamp it on both ends. the flare on a fuel line is not a standard flare so you have to have a special flaring tool to do them plus once you cut the tweeked part off it wont reach the filter.

Went ahead and cut off the non flared end. I did try getting the twist out a bit but made an expected whole :/. Ima just get another line with a bend and flare it.

Is this aluminum, steel? Also anyone know the name of this exact part?

Wow that caused hard to start and rough idle but the car ran fine? That seems way backwards. An engine only need a tiny about of gas to idle but pulling out for a dead stop is need 4 to 5 times that or it will bog and accelerate at the rate of a Hugo with a plug pulled.

Got a fuel line and had to put a 90 degree angle in it. Got dented a lil in the process . The bending tool the o reilley guys gave me wasnt a great one for a 90 degree angle.

Will the dent restrict it alot?

Im probably gonna go ahead and change the camshaft sensor and o2s this week. Me and a buddy tried but things rusted shut. First start was still rough after the repair but got better. I'ma try it again later today.

Really appreciate you guys help

Put new camshaft on and believe the idles gotten better but still the rough start.

At this point I'm thinking the changing the o2s really won't solve this hard start. I've done about all I can think of. All I can do is recheck most of my work.
