I think so the cross over pipe should be the pipe that runs under the oil pan. It "crosses" from one side of the engine to the other.

I am not a 3.4 expert but those pipes do not nomrally have gaskets. In many cases that are just ball joints that can not be replaced or the are a sleave like seal that would only "needs" replaced if it fell apart when you removed the pipe. If you look it up in the manual it should say must be replaced if it needs to be replaced everytime.

Hmm. I'm not thinking there was any pipes running "over" the oil pan.

This one goes to the side if it's what you're referring to. So the area in the yellow circle where there was 2 bolts is what you remove? What is the area in blue? It's like a pipe as well. Will the one in blue just fall down when you move the one in yellow?
