Exclamation Ground effects

want to add ground effects to my 97 Z28. Has anyone purchased a body kit.
Interested in a JP kit, but don't know about quality. Anyone had experience?

I really only like the factory kit. And to be honest, at times I consider removing mine when I get the car painted. I can't decide.

I don't agree at all with the "body kits are for ricers" way of thinking. I think the Camaro RS and Firebird factory body kits look awesome, and make the cars look more aggressive. Sure, many body kits are way out there and don't go with any car at all, not just Camaros. But if I ever find a complete RS kit for my car, I'm jumping on it.

Im not a big fan of body kits. SOME look good, SOME. Most of the time they are just heavy, hideous and slow you down a little bit.

There's so many ground effect kits for the 93-97 camaros. Mine are DG motorsports, which if you can find them they are pretty expensive now since they stopped making them years ago. I like the F1 ground effects and they are stock GM, almost like the RS ground effects but with a different front and back pieces. I've seen several RK sports sets on camaro and the fitment of those always looked really good. one thing to keep in mind with these is that with a solid front piece it will cut off a lot of flow to your radiator, causing overheating. There used to be a longer air dam available which I have which fixes the overheating issue. Took me a long trip to San Antonio to notice the overheating. And driving from Tucson, the whole way with the heater on in the middle of summer is not fun at all.
