Thumbs up grillcraft grilles

I found these grilles, don't know if you guys have seen them before the first one is a steel mesh grille for $164.81 they have it in black and silver and the other one is a polished aluminum billet grille for $93.56. I like the way the billet grille looks on the blue camaro , what do you guys think?

I don't like the mesh. I don't think I've ever seen a mesh one to tell you the truth. Love billets though. Especially mine

I still prefer the SLP SS grille.

Why my SS didn't have one is beyond me, but I just got it FedEx today. (Going to install it when the rain stops Monday.)

Still not sold on billet or mesh grilles.

I think billets are a nice little add-on. Mine already had it when I got her, but I liked it so it stayed on. I think the mesh looks a little too ricer.

Mesh is good for hood scoops.

That's what's on my scoop (the metal looks really crappy). A different 'mini grille' will be used when the hood goes and a new functional ram air hood w/scoop replaces it.

Wow $47?? must have gotten it on ebay or from a friend.
FYI: They now have the black powder coated billets and I think it's the same or maybe $20 bucks more.

Hey everyone.

I am getting close to doing a little customizing to my 2000 Camaro Grille/Front Clip with the removal of the black plastic insert. Filling in the 6 rectangular clip slots & have it all painted. I have a good friend who does great metal fabrication & he is making me a couple of Mesh type inserts that will install from the back to fill in the openings on each side. These are going to be finished w- a matte black powder coat for durability. He is also making me a custom nose emblem from polished stainless which has the exact same dimensions as the bowtie red/white/blue factory one but will have LS1 laser engraved into the surface.

This will probably take awhile but I will definetely post up pics when completed.
