No I mean the car just sitting idle (not engine idling) with no pressure on the brake system.
Guess I used a term you don't use!

auto.......how's it going man..been a LONG time ........

Just to give my oppinion.... you can gravity bleed as camaro69 says, but you will need to do a pump and bleed.

The way I did it was....

Always bleed the brake with the longest path from the ABS unit, so rear lines first. Prob passanger then driver.

Put some hose on the bleed nipple after you crack it (only one side at a time) and make it long enough to go into a milk bottle or any type of glass bottle. Fill the bottle with a little clean brake fluid so the tube sits in this. Fill the reservoir up and then slowly pump the brake down and release slow about 2 or 3 times. Check the reservoir. If you listen carefully you will hear the air bubble out of the system. With the tube on the caliper in the fluid after the air is all expelled it will not suck back up when you release the pedel so after pumping a few times and cehcking all air is out you can go round to the caliper and tighten the nipple again.....hope this makes sense

haha 69, yeah i dont think ive heard that one before..

MAUDY whats supP! what you say does make sense, however in my situation should i be hooking up two bottles and hoses since both lines were disconnected? the way im imagining it is if i do one at a time, then the air from the second will be getting into the system

so craby, if if i do one at a time, when i press the brake pedal to bleed the first (passenger rear), then the air from the driver rear would get up to the abs unit wont it? or am i completely confused about how the air circulates in the brake system...

as me and craby have said, just do furthest one away first, the air wont 'move' to the abs unit from the other pipe, it gets forced to the end into the caliper.

i'm good dude, head and cam make me smile, but fuels gone up in UK so I only use camaro at weekends now

is this the shaft from your car or the doner car? look for any damage to the splines, get a flashlight out and look down the groves on drive shaft and trans to see if theres any stuff in there or twists to it.
