Default Goodridge Brake lines

Just bought a set of these for my 97 Z28 auto. Has anyone any experience of what improvement I can expect and is there anything I should look out for when fitting them. Do the originals tend to seize in the calipers etc. Thanks.

if it looks like it needs it hit em with some lub spray the night before doing the change. im thinkin improvement will be in brake fade mostly, i have not done the change so am interested in how u come out on this. u will need to bleed the system.

I just put a set of Earl's braided hoses on my 92 Vette. I saw the Goodridge ones on ebay, but bought the Earl's since I don't know any history on the Goodridge.
My one front hose had a split on the outer casing, and I was noticing my pedal kept getting stiffer the more times I stopped the car. I'm pretty sure that bad hose was collapsing on me. I can't say that I noticed a wow! night & day difference, but pedal firmness is more consistent. And I didn't do a brake distance test either for comparison. I figured since the original hoses are old and one is already bad, might as well replace all the hoses with better ones. The original banjo bolts came out without any problems.

Thanks for the replies. I have used Goodridge before but on motorcycles. The main improvement always seemed to be a much firmer brake lever, less swelling in the brake lines than std rubber hoses. I'll let you know when I get round to fitting them. May be sometime as its getting cold over here
