I know, and im not happy about it. But i have to get rid of my camaro. I've got in too much trouble with it and now can't afford the insurance. I have a 99 malibu that i drive in the winter... and hate it.
I want to get rid of both and get something quick that's all wheel drive (good in the winter) and fast.
I've looked at my options and what ive found are..
-Audi A6/S4 Quattro
-Lexus IS 250 AWD
-Subaru Impreza WRX STI
-300C 5.7 Hemi AWD
-Or... a truck =(
My price range is around 17,000
Im sorry and i know this isnt the right forum for it but i dont think there IS a forum for it.
Mainly my question is what is your opinion? Those are just what I've been thinking of, anyone have any other options? Just looking for some input.
Also (not an ad) but if anyone wants to buy my camaro im open to any offers.. 96 Red Z28, 6 spd..with only 60,000 miles. alot more to it but ask if your curious. Riverton, WY.

a new vehicle isn't going to drop your insurance rates. You are a high risk driver and thus why points have driven up the price of your liability insurance along with penalties.
I do not believe you are addressing the problem that caused the insurance to soar; it wasn't the car
If you are a young man and riding mom/dad's policy then they are probably making you get a different car but that's an entirely different story and still not addressing the root cause
signed- a Dad who kicked his daughter from his policy and she woke up real quick when she had to pay 4x the premium on her own. She has been ticket free for over 2 years and her premium is dropping slowly.

insurance is based on your age, gender, driving history, and car HP. maybe a few othre things i am missing..
but, all those cars are prolly going to be somewhat expensive.
i myself would definatly pick the audi a4/s4... as amatter of fact the next car i am shooting for for daily driving is a 2003 audi a4 AWD (turbo dosent matter, i would actually prefer no turbo)
