My buddy just bought a 1996 Camaro RS. He is in the process of ordering an LS1 for it, as well as a Tremec T-56 Six Speed Manual Transmission. First question: Does anyone know any good sites to get a 4th gen SS Rear Axle? And two: what would be an ideal gear ratio setup for high speeds. Thanks a lot.

 

first i have to say does buddy know what he is getting into. will need a computer, wiring harness s both under hood and inside car, front suspension including the k member from a v8 and i think u may need to use a ls one. if the car is an auto that opens another can of worms. to go fast keep the stock gears, to go quick and not so fast go with 373 or 410.
