i have a 1995 camaro i have had it almost a year. i drove it quite a bit when i first got it and all was good back in july when the weather was hot i drove to the lake about a 45min drive and right before i got there it just shut off coasted to a stop and it did not want to start up acted like it was not getting any fuel finally it started back up.anyways i have let it sit since. i drove it about 20 miles yesterday and about 30 more miles today it ran fine but after about 5 min of driving you can smell gas fumes in the car anyone know what this might be.thanks also its got the 3.4l

 

Does it smell like exhaust fumes or raw gasoline?

 

check fuel lines under car, test fuel pressure regulator, test evap. have the car scanned for trouble codes if possible

smells like raw gasoline no fuel leaks that i can find i will have to get it scanned to see codes. thanks

 

smell the oil, see if you have gas in oil? pull the evap vacuum hose and see if you have fuel coming outa there, also do the same to the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose. be right back.
