front tire size on 02 camaro ss
My GF has a 2002 camaro ss with 275-45-17 all the way around. Its getting time to replace the factory tires. I want to put "skinner" tires on the front. Probably like a 245. My hopes are it will prevent the car from darting all over "smooth" NJ highways. Car has factory ss wheels I believe 9.5" wide.
Thoughts about this? Recommended tire sizes??
Anything else that can help this car from tramlining all over the place.
Thanks
Dave

It might make it worse, you can't be certain. I ran 275s all around back when our Camaro was only lightly modified and it never seemed to dart orshift that much even on rather bad roads or when driving over siping, pavementseams, etc.
just keep the same size all around, it shouldn't be darting around. maybe get the alignment checked out
275-40-17 will work great
plus if you use the same size you can get them rotated and they will last much longer
