fog lights

On my 95 3.4L it seems one of my fog lights doesnt like to work at all. Ive been able to get enough of an angle to see inside and it looks like a wire unraveled itself and is real spread out. I tried to pull it out, but i dont see any way to get the light out so i can really check it out, is there anything i can do to replace the bulb or the wire?

RE: fog lights

You can go to the nearest auto parts store and get some fog lights since your have been on the car for quite some time. I'm sure they are a little beat up looking. You can go one of two ways. One: you can go with the new lights from the auto parts store and install them. They have all new wiring in the kits and you can use that to replace the wire thats bad. A little FYI though!! If you do go with an auto parts store fog light set then make sure you get lights that have a thick lens. Reason is the lights are set low and the thin lens light will easily break or crack from the rocks and gravle from the street. Two: the bulbs are removable if my memory serves me right and you car replace them if nessasary. You have to twist the bracket that holds the bulb and they should come out. Cut the wire and get some wire nutsto make sure you have a good contact. You may have to pull the light out first to do this!! Hope this helped.

the main problem i have is how to actually get the light fixture out, ive looked at it a few times and the parts holding it together look like they cant be separated from the front end...

You have to get under the front bumper to get to them. Use a jack to raise the car and the bolts should be right where the air dam to the radiator is. Sorry I don't have any pics for you.
