First Track Day 01Z
So went to the track for the first time with my 01Z.... Best run in the 1/8 was an 8.74 @ 84.02MPH.. I am bone stock and an Automatic (I know dont bash me for the auto but it was the only one i could find n my price range with decent miles) How good is this time???? also any suggestions for bolt on performance at a relatively low price???? i am trying to post pics to my profile but it wont let me get into my profile....

gota have more posts. you can open a photobucket account and download your pictures there and then copy the img code to your post. pic will show in the post. once you get 10 posts you should be able to download to your album. there is a sticky on bolt on mod's on here, have a look at it.

Well you have to think FIRST TIME on the track with this car, FIRST time on a track in 10 years, Strictly STREET tires, and BONE STOCK.... but anywho u r right who r u to know... ur ride looks nice BTW..

thanx for the comment and i agree im sure that if i got on the track id run slow too as i havent ran a car in like 5 years but what i was thinking is unless im wrong 13.5ish is what the stock LS1 would do on a quarter now i know that double the distance doesnt mean double the time
but for the first run in 10 years and street tires i say congrats on the 8.74 its faster than my car would run (i got a 3.4L with a few minor boltons)
