1) It's a unique package.
2) 2002 was the last of the breed.
3) Only 389 miles (practically new car)
4) But most importantly...the owner really doesn't want to sell it unless he gets an ungodly high price for it.

Berger was/is one of the Chevy dealers that did COPO cars like Yenko and Nickey, that's no garden variety Camaro SS it's a "Berger" and it's a convertible and it's for all pratical purposes a new car.

First gen COPO cars are now selling for huge sums,I was watching Barrett Jackson the other day and '69 Yenko SC went for $270,000!

but as far as reliability goes, i think my camaro would out live that one, because lets look at it, its sat for 7 years, im pretty sure they didnt change anything inorder to keep that "pristine" newness. if someone had bought that car, and did a few burnouts and high revs, would all agree that alot of things would need replacing in the first 6 month period? whereas the one i got has about 102k miles, and as always serviced regularly at the dealer, any you know once you go to get A done at the dealer, you end up buying P Q R S T U V

i'd agree to some extent on that one, seals and stuff can be good just been sat?

hell, im here in Spain and make sure my dad drives my car round the block at least once a week for 6 months :). I'd never dream of leaving it untouched to that extent over 7 yrs !!!

I don't think someone would spend 70K on a car just to beat it around and do burnouts. I would think that's being offered as more of a 'collectors' item, being it's such a rare package. It's meant to just sit around and look pretty. Someone would have to be pretty dumb to spend that much money and beat it all to hell.
