So i posted before that I just got my 3.4 l 95 camaro. I was thinking about putting a new exhaust on it since it seems like a popular first mod. I look online at summit racing and they have two different kinds but the price difference is pretty big. Both brands i have heard of before so I'm not sure how i should proceed on picking one or looking somewhere else. What should i be looking for? and what is everyone's thoughts? and also what have you experienced with exhaust systems? I don't want it to be too loud, but if it gives enough power i'll deal with the sound! thank you!

 

As long as you don't put on dual 3'' pipes with no mufflers or cats, you should be fine. Your pipes will have almost no velocity by the time it reaches the end of the pipe and that's not good. Headers can be found online and most muffler shops can bend up a system for you. Get a nice flow-master or similar muffler. You should be good to go.
