I have the gmmg/MadHammer catback and its loud. Not so much idleing but driving has a nice sound. Sounds like an old vet with sidepipes since the muffler is the same basic design.

Leave it, the stock SLP Dual Dual is one of the best sounding and flowing exhausts -- I still have mine on my SS and love it. Read the comments on LS1tech.com -- you will see...

Get headers and a cated y-pipe and electric diverter instead! It's all you need!

he is in cali liberty. shorty headers are good to go in cali. dont do much for power but do make sound better. make sure they are carb approved. not suposed to mess with cats unless they are damaged or plugged, not sure of the process but the cats have to stay in the factory location and be carb approved. the cutout would be something to look at. would have to be after cat.

borla also makes a adjustable exhaust so you can make it as loud as you like. if your goin headers, kooks are best for clearance but cost your first born. lol. i have/like em. pasesetters are good for a resonable price. i really like the sound of the corsa i have as well but again cost is up there. look around on utube for soundtracks and see what tone you like. each exhaust is different.

He does not need a Borla Adjustable, just high flow catted y-pipes, Long tube headers and a Noweeds.net electronic diverter or similar, problem solved. As for the CA emissions *****, don't get me started. LOL

You are seriously throwing away your money, just add an exhaust diverter and electronic valve first -- WAY cheaper. Trust me, you will forget about another catback after installing this.

DMH is cheaper than No Weeds and better than QTP.

Welcome to DMH Performance!

There are stainless steel pipe options out there too...

i cant see a cutout sounding as nice as a exhaust tuned to the owners liking. come on liberty you just spent 600+ bucks replacing the panhard bar. lol
