Default Euro Lamps upgrade installed!

I ordered the Eurolamps headlight conversion for my '97 Z. I went for the Xenon charged bulbs. All I can say is WOW! The conversion kit is well made. I know you can cut the old bulbs out of the housings and seal in Silverstars and the like, but at the prices of the Silverstars, it wasn't that much more for the plug and play kit. The bulb fits snugly and uses 2 spring locks to secure the bulb. The fog lights look a sickly yellow compared to the headlights. Highly recommend!

Do you have any pics of the kit, the install, and the end result?

If you can change a headlight, you can do the conversion. You just plug the bulb into the hole in the back of the headlight housing and secure the spring clips and install it like a regular headlight. You get a bright blue/white light instead of the dim candle of the sealed beams. The housings are glass/metal just like the sealed beams. It was $176 for high and low beams. Well worth it!

Sorry to be a pest, but how about a link to the actual kit that you used?

On a side note, how do you check the aim on the headlights? I really can't tell a "hot spot" like the old sealed beams to go by.

For your fog lights you might need to change the bulbs to the same color temperature as your headlights.

COLOR TEMPERATURES: 3000K (Golden Yellow), 5000K (OEM White), 6000K (Diamond White), 8000K (Iceberg blue), 10000K (Brilliant Blue), 12000K (Exotic Violet), 30000K (Pink Violet)

For aiming, I think I got a link on a how too for aiming at home on my computor. I'll give it a look tonight when I get home from work.

There is 2 drawbacks:
1- there is no door at the trunk to change the Fuel pump
2- u have to change the whole housing every time u wana change the bulb.
thanks for the thread :-)
