Look under the front of the car and see if the air dam is still there. The air dam looks like a spoiler hanging down, and sometimes can get torn off if it gets hung up on something (curb etc), or if a previous owner removed that "useless" piece of plastic. It's purpose is to direct air up and through the radiator while driving, the fan alone will not do the job. If the air dam is missing, that's your problem.

Sorry for the delay in response. Just got back from honeymoon few days ago. I had a new thermostat and housing along with a water pump and radiator cap on. Last couple of days never got to half way which is 210. Today it went over 210 and it was steaming and coming out of the overflow and you could hear it around cap. So now I have no idea what it is now. Maybe temp sensor?

have you been checking the coolant level in the radiator? daily?

Yes. Since new pump it's not gone down too much

if the coolant level in the radiator is dropping then you either had air in the system or you have a leak. be a good idea to do a pressure test on the cooling system and see if it is leaking and where

You still haven't reported back whether or not your front air dam is there, as I mentioned above. If it's m.i.a., suspect nothing else till you get one back on.

Sound like what happened to my 99 camaro kept running hot changed out sensors, thermostat come to find out head gasket was blown do u have any white smoke ?
