Default Electrical Problems

I just recently installed a new engine into my 95 camaro 3.4l. During the process of installing engine I found the rats had made a nest in various places and had chewed some wires. I got most of the wires fixed except one i have no idea where it goes. I tried to start the car but I have no interior lights and no communication to the computer at all. Could it be a bad harness? Computer? Fuses? The car has been sitting up since 02?

if you can find a good harness at a reasonable price then that would be the best thing to do. is it the engine compartment harness or the under dash harness? or both.

Show a picture if you can, it would help a lot more than just saying you have a wire that you don't know where it goes. We don't know either!

I don't have any pictures to show as of yet. The person that is working on it said that he has power coming in the computer system but no power leading up to it as well as no power going to the crank fuse, any ideas?

The mice made a nest over the computer box and chewed some wires on the firewall.

if you want to do it right you will need to replace the engine compartment harness. here is one for a 5 sp. it has more than you need but give you an idea, i think the ignition harness is the right one. 1994 94 CAMARO 3.4 V6 5spd FRONT HEADLIGHT LAMP & IGNITION WIRING HARNESS (#714) on eBay!

Ok. Cool. I will let the person know who is working on it and hopefully we can get it started. the new engine has been installed, the clutch has been replaced and the catalytic converter has been replaced. All I have to do now is replace the interior and dash board. My luck i bought a dashboard that was for a newer model so now i need to sell it and try to find one to fit mine..thinking that will be hard.
