If they are willing to doing the tuning i would go for it. Some cars gain fair power from dyno tunes. And it cant hurt. However most people charge 200-400 bucks for tuning but it could be worth a few horses.

i had a 95 z with a jasper lt1 and i was puting down over 300 at the wheels. my cousin had a 97ss and i would always walk him and he dynoed at 267 with cat back and some other mods....

70 for 3 runs and a tune = do it!!!!

Even if you only pick up a few horses, it'll also help with gas mileage.
