difference between z28 and SS 1997?

Cool difference between z28 and SS 1997?

Hey guys,


is there any difference between z28 and SS? in the interior or exterior?

i have no idea cuz i just got my camaro.

no except some SS cars have SS embroidered in to the seats

what do you have an SS or a Z28 or do you not know???

ya i was gunna say the 30th ann 97 is an SS and theyve been making SSs since the 60s

There's a whole lot of differences. The SS got a higher rear spoiler, a hood with a big scoop, a true ram-air-induction setup, wider Z-rated tires, 17 inch by 9 inch painted wheels, bigger front and rear sway bars, taller gears(If its an automatic), stiffer bushings, stiffer springs, a freer flowing exhaust system and some other small tiny stuff.

am not sure what mine is the VIN says its a Z28 but it has hood scoops and spoiler its so confusing me ;(

The SS has one big hood scoop, a high spoiler and SS badges.

but anyone can put an SS spoiler and hood on any camaro if the vin says Z its a Z
