I have an SLP lid.. but it came with the car. So I looked at pictures on the internet, and from under the hood.. the SLP lid only, and the cold air kit look exactly the same. Same lid, same filter, same dealio.

they also have a metal scoop you install in front of the radiator

is the slp cold air kit difficult to install and is it worth it? I have an 02 z28 and I was going to add the Ram Air and all that but you have to have the ss hood and all. it is very nice looking but a new hood is a 1k im sure i could have a used one then i have to deal with painting it and blah blah. is that slp kit better in terms of bang or the buck and not mess anything up?
