Default Diff between z28 and SS?

Basically I am trying to figure out the exact differences between the z28 and SS for gen 4s

Things like the hoodscoop and diff rear spoiler for the SS..Wheels etc

I need to know all of the details like diff in suspension, does the SS have diff brakes, dual exhaust etc....did they make the z28s dual exhaust ....stereo, do all of the SS's have the nice stereos...

If anyone can give me some good details i would greatly appriciate it..

Thanks

There is a similar thread on here someplace. There is no perfromance differance I DON"T CARE WHAT THE FACTORY RATINGS ARE!!!. Some SS's had a a bilstien shock option and a different (but not better) exhaust. The reality is that you are just getting rims, a hood and a wing. Realize that I own a 01 SS and am saying this, so it's not coming from a disgruntaled Z/28 owner.

On the early 4th gens, the SS "ram air" intake helped it out a bit over the Z28's, but that's about it. Would someone with a late 4th gen clarify something for me, did they have the same freakin' retarded maze of tubing the runs up behind the headlight for the intake on the LS1 Z28's, or did GM get a brain and redesign that...

There is no maze of tubing on a LS1 Z/SS. Air is taken from in front of the radiator, it's a fairly clean, simple design.

I read somewhere that the SS came with a higher speed rated tire and therefore had no govenor and since the Z28 did not come with the tires it was governed around 105 or something. Could just be a load of **** but I do remember reading it in Car and Driver or something similar.

No any Z/28 with z-rated tires ho no govenor. The SS/WS6 cars could have been had with better shocks and a bigger sway barbut the breaks and rest of the suspension is the same.
