THE TIME IS HERE THERE IS NO MORE WAITING.

On the first pull on a conservative MAF tune she made decent numbers. Jason is sending me the dyno sheet here in just a few so as soon as i get it i will post her up.

I was pretty happy since thats running throw a 12 bolt rear on street boost with mild timing but i also fill like there is a lot of room to still improve.

numbers or gtfo!!!11!!one!

cbr600rx7 02-26-2009 09:37 AM

449 wheel horse and 499 torque on the first pull.

what is your exact build cbr?
I cant remember if its essentially stock ls1 with an STS remote mount turbo, or a complete head/cam FI package.
looks low if its a complete build, but good if were talking just slapping a turbo on there.

I started this build with what was left a guys scrap used TTI 60 trim kit with more then a few parts missing. I am running a built 4L60 and a heavy 12 bolt that likes to suck a little more power out of the car then a sweet little 10. Still running a bone stock bottom with stock TB and LS1 manifold. The turbo is a used turbonetics 60 trim with a crappy intercooler and smallish piping (one of the big limiting factors i will be soon addressing) Other then that she is running a set of 60lb injectors, a smallish cam, and valve springs. Other then that she is basically stock.

The car was run on street boost, blowing into my old exhaust set up (probably not the best set up for turbo), and with out the use the chemical intercooler (ALKY).

I had expected 450 whp and 500 torque. Giving that this was on the first pull and there is still a little tuning to be done i am very happy.

Latter this summer i plan on changing out to a new 67 trim with 2 1/2 inch IC piping and a larger intercooler that should push her past my original goal of 500 WHP and 550 torque.

a better intercooler and your over 475hp...how much boost are you running?

The first pulls wear taken on a mild 8 psi. This was on a simple MAF tune on a pre 2001 PCM.
