Funny me neither. I was expecting a scan of the dyno graph...

What did we tell you about numbers or ban?

robmnrd 02-25-2009 03:16 PM

Something along the lines of 'post numbers or you're banned'?

What do I win? :P

Saint_Ali 02-25-2009 03:17 PM

we asked for dyno numbers not pics

outta_control_z28 02-25-2009 05:47 PM

thats a nice ride man !! should be a beast !

Saint_Ali 02-25-2009 06:11 PM

right now its a 3600 lb paper weight

cbr600rx7 02-25-2009 09:39 PM

I filll every ones pain but its not like i can just go over there and make them dyno the car. Jason said thursday would be the absolute latest. They did get the car out on the street and running around so that is one positive. I will post results the second i have them and yes i mean the very second so try not to explode too much.

robmnrd 02-25-2009 09:50 PM

You weren't referring to me specifically, were you? :P

Cause I think I'm oka-*EXPLODES*.......nevermind.

:D

BLACKJACK 02-26-2009 06:38 AM

even tho thats a nice car...i still dont see a piece of paper with lines on it that tells you how much hp, and torque the car makes.......you know....

Saint_Ali 02-26-2009 08:07 AM

you cant judge here unless you own a vehicle, more specifically an fbody

whammer3024 02-26-2009 08:13 AM

i already said that ls1...way to steal people's jabs

cbr600rx7 02-26-2009 09:26 AM

THE TIME IS HERE THERE IS NO MORE WAITING.

On the first pull on a conservative MAF tune she made decent numbers. Jason is sending me the dyno sheet here in just a few so as soon as i get it i will post her up.

I was pretty happy since thats running throw a 12 bolt rear on street boost with mild timing but i also fill like there is a lot of room to still improve.

Saint_Ali 02-26-2009 09:29 AM

numbers or gtfo!!!11!!one!

cbr600rx7 02-26-2009 09:37 AM

449 wheel horse and 499 torque on the first pull.

Saint_Ali 02-26-2009 09:42 AM

thats it ? you should of gone with an lt1....

SpecterGT260 02-26-2009 09:54 AM

what is your exact build cbr?
I cant remember if its essentially stock ls1 with an STS remote mount turbo, or a complete head/cam FI package.
looks low if its a complete build, but good if were talking just slapping a turbo on there.

i agree id lik a detailed description on this please

cbr600rx7 02-26-2009 10:34 AM

I started this build with what was left a guys scrap used TTI 60 trim kit with more then a few parts missing. I am running a built 4L60 and a heavy 12 bolt that likes to suck a little more power out of the car then a sweet little 10. Still running a bone stock bottom with stock TB and LS1 manifold. The turbo is a used turbonetics 60 trim with a crappy intercooler and smallish piping (one of the big limiting factors i will be soon addressing) Other then that she is running a set of 60lb injectors, a smallish cam, and valve springs. Other then that she is basically stock.

The car was run on street boost, blowing into my old exhaust set up (probably not the best set up for turbo), and with out the use the chemical intercooler (ALKY).

I had expected 450 whp and 500 torque. Giving that this was on the first pull and there is still a little tuning to be done i am very happy.

Latter this summer i plan on changing out to a new 67 trim with 2 1/2 inch IC piping and a larger intercooler that should push her past my original goal of 500 WHP and 550 torque.

nice! a set of heads possibly?

BLACKJACK 02-26-2009 11:50 AM

a better intercooler and your over 475hp...how much boost are you running?

cbr600rx7 02-26-2009 12:32 PM

The first pulls wear taken on a mild 8 psi. This was on a simple MAF tune on a pre 2001 PCM.

robmnrd 02-26-2009 01:39 PM

Well jeese, get a finished tune in there and you'll probably see close to 460 horses. :)

Nic job. :)

cbr600rx7 02-27-2009 03:09 PM

Correction the dyno was made on 7PSI all the other information was correct. I will add dyno chart and more tuning related info soon.

robmnrd 02-27-2009 03:20 PM

Nice. I wanna see the torque curve, how's it look?

cbr600rx7 02-27-2009 10:06 PM

Not looking to good to have any dyno sheets up this weekend. Jason was supposed to email me them last night but he has a lot going on over at the shop. Ryan the owner is out sick. I will post the results as soon as they are emailed to me.

I was mistaken on the boost level.
Taken on 7psi
with no alky
on 93 octane
threw the old exhaust system (not the best for a FI application :()
with lots of room to improve.

Attachment 40022

robmnrd 03-02-2009 04:11 PM

Very nice. :)

SpecterGT260 03-02-2009 05:06 PM

man, maybe someone should start a dyno slips thread....

cbr600rx7 03-02-2009 10:22 PM

Hmmm. I could be um mistaken but i think some one at some point did. I just cant remember who now :(

Saint_Ali 03-02-2009 10:26 PM

who ever did that guy must not be that important

dyno slips are for tuning, real cars get time slips
