Dash Pad Removal
the guy I boughyt mine from tried to take the dash piece out and broke it all to pieces. He put a dash pad over it. It does not look that bad, but I was to replace it with another original piece. I went to the pull a part place here and they had 6 93-98 camaros, all with the dash pieces there, all broke. Every one of them. I tried to lift an edge on one just to see what was under it and it broke off in my hand. Almost like an egg shell...lol...I'm just going to save and buy one off ebay, 93 - 96 Chevy Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 Dash Board Cover Cap | eBay

You're aware that is just a "cap" right? it silicones over your broken original. im thinking this may be the route i have to go as well, i just hate the fact that the defroster hole is just a big gaping hole. other than that, you probably would'nt be able to tell its a cap instead of the orig. dash. I also found an original NOS dash on ebay the other day but it was 289.00
yep its a dash pad, not a dash pad cap. here you go 93-96 Camaro Z28 RS SS Dash Pad/Cover GM OEM NEW | eBay
240 bucks is the cheapest ive seen. i may try to repair mine, and recover it in a color matching vynil like the one post i seen. but im somewhat skeptical for the very same reason, the vent...it will be a real PITA to wrap the vynil in all the little grates.
