Default Convertible weatherstripping question

Hello everyone. New to the forum and Camaro ownership, I need to replace this piece of weatherstrip on my 96 Z/28 convertible. It is located on the driver's side above the passenger seat. Does this piece just pull out to remove and push in a channel to install? I want to make sure I buy the right piece so any part numbers/links would be appreciated. Thanks for the help...

In your picture above, the seal that is bolted to the top inside edge of the quarter panel looks to be damaged. I don't imagine the part is available from GM anymore, so you'll probably have to go with aftermarket unless you go to a salvage yard. Classic Industries has them listed on their website in pairs, but I would think other suppliers will carry them too.

Here's the service manual instructions on how to replace the seal.

I don't have a convertible, so I'm confused on which part you need, especially with the
'On driver's side above passenger seat' part
But I did find these at www.ecklerscamaro.com

In stock $59.99 for set, and

In stock $157.99 for the pair.
Hope this helps, good luck.

Charkbites, the first weatherstripping picture you posted looks like it could be from around where the door glass and the convertible top meet and the second is from right below the top behind the door jamb. I'm not sure the original poster is referring to the weatherstrip I showed above either, but that was the only one I could see that was damaged.
