Could be a short. Or could be junk stuck down in the litter its self. We once had a big issue with a copper penny stuck down in the end. It made for a hole mess of problems.[:@]

Sorry for the bad sense of humor. The most common electrical complaint in my history is the lighter fuse is blowing or my battery is draining over night. 99% of the time its is cause either by the lighter itself (most people figure that one out) or the socket it fits into. What you most likely have is a shorted lighter socket. Easy to check just disconnect it and try another fuse.Easy tofix every parts store carries tthem.

Yes.. It was the socket that was in the lighter that was blowing it out. Thank you !!
