Default cold air induction

I recently installed the cold air induction kit from SLP, and I was wondering if it is normal to hear a high-pitched whining noise from it as air movement through the new induction chamber echos? Also my hood makes contact with the high-flow air-box lid from the flow-pac kit. I have even taken out some of the rubber sealing tape included in the kit. Am I doing something wrong, or has anyone else experienced this problem. This was my first attempt at a do it yourself job, and now I'm paranoid I did something wrong. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I feel much better!!! Never know when you do something yourself, and no-one you know has done anything like it to their car. Appreciated!
